What is BDSM Sanctuary?

AYA is a BDSM Sanctuary, but what is it?

Where are the boundaries between BDSM and the Sanctuary?

Our SIM is what it is by its differential, for not be a SIM BDSM as others and not be a sanctuary simply. We are a combination of both.

We are many and diverse, are a "whole" composed of several different cultures. Several visions, but one goal, make of Aya a better place for everyone.

A part of our members prefer BDSM, Another part prefers Sanctuary. The difficulty is to define, at first sight, which each prefers. For those who prefer BDSM, be treated with low stiffness makes the conviviality uninteresting. Already with preference for Sanctuary, be treated rigidly is very stressful and unpleasant.

Aya is a BDSM Sanctuary, but how much it is BDSM? This boundary is not clearly defined. I have my preference, but that does not mean that the other options are wrong. Both views make us what we are. BOTH VIEWS ARE IMPORTANT AND CORRECT.

Prefer BDSM or sanctuary is not the most important. The important thing is that everything is done by CONSENSUS, nothing can be imposed or forced. If participants want and agree, only your imagination is the limit.

I dare say that CONSENSUS and MUTUAL RESPECT are pillars of AYA BDSM SISSY SANCTUARY.

This is not AYA's OFFICIAL POSITION, it's my opinion.

  1. Well said Marta. In fact, this is great timing. The Aya management have been working on an Official Position on this very subject. And it's pretty much exactly what you just stated.

Aya is both - BDSM and a sanctuary. And by working together, we make one great community!

  4. Excellent, Marta! In fact pretty admirable that a community with those differences is able to create and maintain a unity to this extent. But that's the main character of Aya :)
