Sparkle the National Transgender Celebration


Will happen In the Village area of Manchester, from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th July, 2013

Sparkle The National Transgender Celebration.



Founded in 2005, Sparkles began with a day of celebration of transgender. Now Sparkle the National Transgender Celebration  is a weekend festival held every July.




The event will have dozens of trade and info stands, plus live entertainment.

    It's been running for a few years now and is great for anyone wanting to venture out for the first time.
    There are all sorts of things on, but the Saturday is the main event with live music on the stage in Sackville Gardens just off Canal Street in The Gay Village. If you have never been try to go you'll love it and it's free. If you are not used to wearing heels watch out for the dreaded 'Sparkle Foot' lol
